Coachella 2012 - Best Dressed

Finally! The sun is shining! Time for some festival look inspiration from Coachella which took place in Indio, California a few weeks ago. An immensely popular festival with a great line-up (The Black Keys, Santigold, Bon Iver etc.) in the Colorado desert where you stumble over the celebrities.
I made a best dressed list:

Katy Perry
Katy looked amazing with her bright purple hair and a floral embellished Ashish dress worn over ripped tights and creepers.

Dree Hemingway
Please note: a biker jacket, cut-off shorts, buckled boots and a cute pouch.

Kate Bosworth
Kate Bosworth in a flower printed dress, a green parka, wellies and (of course) her bf Michael Polish.

Dita von Teese
Model and burlesque dancer Dita von Teese in a belted cherry jumpsuit. She accessorized her look with matching bangles, pale green sunglasses and black wedges.

Zoe Kravitz
Zoe wearing a white crop top, high waisted shorts, A. Wang bucket bag and cute black sneakers.

Kristen Stewart
K-Stew looked great by wearing loose t-shirt, burgundy shorts (I want!), a baseball cap and black Keds.

Emma Roberts
How adorable! Emma wearing a brown crocheted top, floral shorts and cute accessories.

Venessa Hudgens
Venessa showed her inner hippie wearing a flower crop top (trend alert!), high waisted shorts, a long white vest, cowboy boots, round sunglasses and a flower headband.

Diane Kruger
Diane Kruger and her beau Joshua Jackson matched their outfits while they hit the festival. Diane wore a blue-and-white striped Stella McCartney palm print dress with a small brown belt, a crossbody bag (featuring a taupe Acne cardigan) and Isabel Marant Dicker boots. Not to mention her side-swept braid. Love it!

Sky Ferreira
Sky Ferreira was enjoying the festival wearing a denim jacket and cool boots by Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony.

Kasia Struss and Hanne Gaby Odiele
Model invasion at the festival. Chanel Iman, Lily Donaldson, Karlie Kloss, Jacquelyn Jablonski, Arizona Muse and Cara Delevigne (and more) were spotted. Kasia Struss and especially Hanne Gaby Odiele were my favorite. What's not to love about her eclectic style?

Azealia Banks and Florence Welch
Azealia Banks looked really cool with her purple hair, black and grey fur and punk boots. Florence Welch wore a Vilshenko floral/paisley printed maxi dress, espadrilles and a Dolce & Gabbana woven raffia bag.

Rachel Finley
Rachel Finley looked so cute wearing an all black ensemble including black cut-off shorts, a black t-shirts, wedges, cool necklaces and a colorful baseball cap.

Confirmed: Raf Simons for Dior

At one point I stopped counting the potential design candidates for the succession of John Galliano at the LVMH fashion house Dior. But I can remember Haider Ackermann, Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang and Sarah Burton. Yesterday the rumors were finally terminated. Raf Simons will replace John Gaillano. Simons said about his new job: "It is with the utmost respect for its tremendous history, its unparalleled knowledge and craftsmanship that I am joining the magnificent house of Dior. Mr Christian Dior has always been for me the most inspiring couturier. Around the globe, the name Dior symbolises the ultimate in elegance and refinement. I am truly humbled and honoured to become artistic director of the most celebrated French house in the world." Raf Simons will show his first collection for Dior in july during the haute couture shows.

A Cinderella Story

Yay! We can finally show the princess in us!
I'm only not quite sure if I can wait that long for Prince Charming to slide these (a-ma-zing) Marc Jacobs transparant pumps on my feet.
