What The Water Gave Me

Three designers, three whole new ideas of the waterworld.

Alexander McQueen
Sarah Burton made the most beautiful seacreatures for Alexander McQueen.
I'm speechless...

Chanel
This collection was 'under the sea, but not like mermaids'. Karl surprised us with modern shapes and graphic prints. There were ruffles, pearls, turquoises, the typical Chanel-jackets...everything a girl wants.

Givenchy
Riccardo Tisci wanted to show the more romantic side of him.
The inspiration: the lovestory between a surfer and a mermaid. The sensuality of the collection came from the mermaid and the more edgy pieces (those wetsuit inspired pants!) were inspired by swimwear. Mister Tisci showed us the waves, sunset, water and fish with his own very inspiring vision.
